The Public Works Department is organized across three Divisions: Engineering, Maintenance and Transportation. Engineering consists of the Capital Improvement Plan, Utilities, and Development Services sections.
This full journey-level position is expected to perform the entire range of professional and technical work in the Capital Improvement Plan section, including planning and design of the public works infrastructure. Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered qualifying. Ideal candidates will offer at least four years of professional engineering design, plan review, and project administration experience along with a bachelor’s degree. Possession of a State of California Registered Professional Civil Engineer license is required.
