We're looking for an experienced Building Inspector/Plans Examiner to join our Community & Economic Development Department. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with demonstrated experience in the industry who wants to live, work, and play in the Eastern Sierra!
This position is one of our two Building Inspector/Plans Examiner positions. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in examining complex plans, construction documents, and applications for compliance with state and municipal building codes, local ordinances, and standard building and engineering practices. While also performing inspection work, the focus of this position will be on the plans examiner duties. Experience reviewing plans for a California municipality, or plan review firm is preferred.
$61,582 - $86,652 plus a competitive benefits package.
