Summary

The Mayor and City Council are seeking an experienced generalist committed to implementing the City Council's goals and prioritizing fundamental city operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the unique community characteristics, assets, and city culture.  A results driven leader with the humility to empower and inspire others to excel in pursuit of the City Council's goals.  

Preferred background: 

  • Track record of achieving the governing body's goals direction and objectives.
  • Strong foundation in financial management, local government structure, laws, and regulations, or both.
  • Experience as a City Manager, Assistant or Deputy City Manager. 

Salary/Benefits:

  • $218,823 - $299,276 DOQ
  • Cal Pers Retirement, Deferred Compensation, Mgt Leave, Health & Life Insurance, Auto & Phone Allowance, 4/10 Schedule
