The ideal candidate will be well-versed in local government issues and have the ability to navigate complex matters and facilitate well-informed decision making among policymakers. Brisbane’s City Manager must be an effective, credible and diplomatic communicator who proactively engages with their staff and the community. Current or previous experience as a City Manager, Assistant/Deputy City Manager, department director or equivalent is desired. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
