Code Enforcement Supervisor

The City of Buena Park is seeking for a Code Enforcement Supervisor to join the Neighborhood Improvement/Code Enforcement Division of the Community Development Department! Our team is responsible for interpreting and enforcing codes related to safety, zoning, and housing. The Code Enforcement Supervisor would be responsible for conducting code enforcement cases, conducting inspections, writing notices, supervising staff, coaching and directing staff, and attending meetings. This is a working Supervisor role in which the individual must have the ability to build relationships and trust with staff, enforce rules and regulations, engage with the public, and tactfully handling difficult situations. The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker, technology savvy, knowledgeable in updated laws and practices, and seek innovative ways to improve City procedures.
