Community Development Director

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to serve as the Community Development Director, overseeing planning, building and safety, and directing the planning and building operations and activities of the City. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with an understanding of urban planning, zoning laws, building codes and community development strategies. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the City’s growth is safe, sustainable and inclusive while balancing the needs of residents and businesses. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Seven (7) years of experience in community development, urban planning and project management
• Two (2) years of responsible management experience
• Possession of a master’s degree is desirable.

Monthly Salary:

$11,460-$13,927
