Starting salary up to $79.20/hour ($165,299/year) plus a cash allowance of approximately $600/month*

This position requires initiative, leadership acumen, sound judgment, and discretion. The new DCPO will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience managing Community Supervision, Juvenile Institutions, and Court-related staff and thorough knowledge of processes pertaining to justice-involved individuals and administration of community corrections’ services.

- Significant experience developing effective managers in the field of Probation
- Experience leading teams/committees within a framework of diversity/equity/inclusion
- The proven ability to analyze and interpret new legislation and apply it to agency operations
- Demonstrated experience using data to evaluate programs for fidelity and efficacy
- Experience and expertise in working with BIPOC and other marginalized populations, as well as an understanding of institutional and structural inequities and knowledge of how to interrupt and correct these imbalances
- Knowledge and experience with labor relations activities, including leading communications and negotiating with labor associations
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills are critical to interact with key stakeholders, advisory groups, department staff, and the media
