The City of Belmont is actively seeking an experienced and forward-thinking professional to fill this exciting role. We are dedicated to creating a sustainable and thriving community where people love to live, work, and play.
As the Deputy Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our city. Currently, the city is evaluating numerous proposals for new Biotech/Life Sciences/Office developments, totaling over 2.5 million square feet. We are also in the process of reviewing a 30-year Master Plan for Stanford's occupancy of the Notre Dame De Namur (NDNU) campus and preparing a Specific Plan for the adjacent 65-acre Unincorporated Harbor Industrial Area (HIA), which will eventually be annexed to Belmont.
As the Deputy Director, you will have the opportunity to provide support and management for these projects, along with other high-profile planning initiatives, both ongoing and long-term. Your contributions will have a significant impact on the city's progress and development.
