The City of Culver City, California, is seeking a Deputy Transportation Officer, Official Title: Assistant Chief Transportation Officer, (Deputy Officer) to join the Transportation Department (Department). This leader will oversee many exciting initiatives and contribute to providing a world-class mobility system for the City and the Westside communities of Los Angeles. The Deputy Officer will support the Chief Transportation Officer in overseeing 195 staff across four Divisions. This role offers the exciting opportunity to join a collaborative Department undergoing many exciting changes. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE This ideal candidate for the Deputy Officer role will be fiscally savvy and budget minded. They will ideally have transit operations, finance, facility, or capital management experience. Other core strengths include effective communication, collaboration, problem solving, leadership, and relationship building.
