(At-Will, EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT POSITION)

This position plans, directs, manages and oversees the functions, programs, and operations of the Finance Department including the operation of the Accounting, Sewer Billing, Receivables, and Purchasing divisions to assure the integrity and accuracy of the City's financial system, and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager.

Education/Training:  Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.  A Master’s degree in public administration, business administration or a related field of study is highly desirable.
Experience:  Seven (7) years of increasingly responsible finance and accounting experience including at least three (3) years of management and administrative responsibility.

License or Certificate:  Possession of an appropriate, valid driver’s license.  CPA is desirable.
