The City is seeking to fill its two Library Services Division Head positions, each reporting to the Library Services Director and overseeing one division: Community Engagement & Support Services and Branch Management & Operations.
Palo Alto seeks experienced, talented library professionals to work as strategic partners and cultivate relationships that enhance and advance the Library’s vision. An exceptional customer orientation, experience serving a diverse population, and a history of fostering a positive and inclusive work environment are expected. As hands-on leaders, the ideal candidates will also be known for being open-minded and supporting innovation.
Successful candidates will have a Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited School of Library or Information Science or equivalent and five (5) years of full-time, relevant professional library experience including management and supervisory experience.
