This role will have two direct reports, while overseeing a team of 25 staff and an approximate budget of $39.8 million. This is your chance to exercise your leadership skills with your ability to guide, support, and mentor Electric Operations and Engineering staff. The Director will also formulate energy resource strategy and engage with partners and interest groups to protect and enhance the District’s long-term power supply position necessary to meet or exceed State-mandated clean-energy requirements. Other focus areas of this role include negotiating contracts, managing budgets, overseeing capital improvement projects, and engaging with special interest groups and the District’s joint partners.
