DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
City of Bell, CA
Salary: $11,493-$12,872/ mo.
The City is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual who will oversee the City’s fiscal sustainability strategy. The Finance Director plans, directs, manages, coordinates and supervises programs, functions and activities for the Finance Department encompassing finance, accounting, budget, treasury, investments, business licensing, purchasing, payroll, internal audit and external program audits and reports, assists with risk management and manages the information technology infrastructure; conducts strategic planning for the department; develops and implements departmental policies and procedures; develops and manages the department’s annual budget; provides highly complex technical and administrative support, and serves as an advisor to the City Manager and City Council.
Requirements Education/ Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business or a related field from an accredited university or college required. Master’s Degree preferred. In addition, a minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible administrative and management experience in finance and accounting with a public agency.
