Finance Director/City Treasurer

The City of Pomona has a rewarding career opportunity for a qualified individual to work as the Finance Director/ City Treasurer to provide vision and leadership for the Finance Department’s services and activities including financial reporting, general accounting, payroll, budget preparation, debt administration, revenue management, purchasing and procurement, and business licensing.

Education and Experience

• Ten years of responsible accounting, budget, or closely related experience including five years of management and supervisory experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, accounting, or a related field.
• Possession of a CPA and/or CPFO is desirable.
