The City of Rocklin is looking for a Financial Analyst to perform a variety of complex professional budgetary, financial, administrative and analytical activities in support of the City. This position will also be responsible for analyzing compensation and benefit costs for negotiations and the compensation budget, assisting in the analysis, reporting, and auditing of financial transactions, and researching and preparing financial analyses and reports.
This is a management classification where incumbents are expected to be fully competent to independently perform the full range of duties. Employees at this level receive only occasional instruction or direction as new, unusual or unique situations arise. The Financial Analyst receives general supervision from management staff and may supervise or provide direction to assigned staff.
