The Santa Clara County’s award-winning Counsel Office is looking for a finance and administrative leader to fill its Financial and Administrative Services Manager position.
The individual that will be selected for this critical role will be responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of administrative and fiscal functions for the Office of the County Counsel, supervising many staff and performing diverse activities including development of the annual Office budget submittal and oversight of budgetary and accounting operations and fiscal control; personnel, IT, preparation of board transmittals, purchasing, facility management, and policy implementation.
A qualified candidate would typically acquire the necessary knowledge and abilities through education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Public Administration with an emphasis in accounting or a closely related field, and five (5) years of current administrative/managerial experience directing a complex financial operation. Administrative/managerial experience managing a complex financial operation in the public sector is a plus.
Salary: $130,043 - $166,678 Annually DOE
The salary range for the selected individual is coupled with Santa Clara County’s generous executive leadership benefits package.
