FINANCIAL OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT
The City of Monrovia is looking for a highly energetic, motivated, and outside-the-box thinker to serve as a Financial Operations Supervisor in the Administrative Services Department. Our Administrative Services Department does more than push paper – we work diligently and with great creativity to enhance our organization and community. The department provides top-notch customer service to the public and employees while upholding the City’s history of exemplary reporting. The Financial Operations Supervisor will supervise a dynamic team of well-trained professionals and para-professionals and will oversee day-to-day operations related to cashiering, utility billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase requisitions, payroll, customer service, and grant management.
Qualifications: BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and three (3) years increasingly responsible professional experience in municipal accounting, including one (1) year demonstrated success in a supervisory capacity. CPA and MA/MS desirable.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE
Possession of a valid Class C California Driver’s License and a good driving record.
