The County of Sonoma Human Resources Department and the Transportation and Public Works (TPW) Department each seek a dedicated professional to serve as their Fiscal Administrative Officer. Working with a great deal of professional and independent judgment, the Fiscal Administrative Officer in each department reports to executive management, and are responsible for a wide variety of administrative, supervisory, and business management functions in support of the fiscal and operational activities of the department.
Ideal candidates for these positions will possess:
Exceptional fiscal and accounting skills and experience analyzing and projecting fees and costs, and working with multiple types of funding sources
A confident and inspiring leadership style and the ability to be an effective supervisor
A commitment to improving the effectiveness of department operations
Excellent verbal and oral communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with a wide variety of people
