The Bear Valley Community Services District (BVCSD) is seeking an experienced General Manager (GM) to develop and implement District policies and goals in partnership with the Board of Directors, oversee daily operations across departments, and contribute to positive relations with the community and stakeholders. The General Manager will oversee a total staff of 56 including five direct reports, and a total annual budget of over $15 million. The next GM will possess experience in the management of public infrastructure, an ability and desire to engage with the community, a deep understanding of government finance, human resources, risk management, regulatory compliance, and a strong understanding of the laws and regulations governing California special districts. The ideal candidate will be an influential and highly professional leader who is self-motivated, strategic, flexible to change, and demonstrates a genuine passion for public service.
