The City of Tracy is presently in search of a highly motivated and innovative Human Resources Analyst I/II with outstanding interpersonal and analytical abilities, along with a readiness to engage in cooperative and collaborative efforts with all City departments. The position may be filled at the HR Analyst I or HR Analyst II level, depending on qualifications and experience. We are looking for an ideal candidate who demonstrates a unique blend of analytical acumen and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of applying an innovative problem-solving approach and generating valuable insights to inform decision-making. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential in serving as a liaise with various departments and employees. 

A successful candidate will be a well-rounded Human Resources professional with generalist knowledge in recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, benefits administration, policy and procedure development, employee, and labor relations, and risk management; prior project management experience is highly desired. Work conducted under the general guidance and supervision of the Human Resources Manager and Director of Human Resources.
