The City of Belmont has a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking municipal government generalist with a strong understanding of the operations within a full-service city administration. The Management Analyst I/II role supports the City Manager, City Clerk and City Attorney offices. In this dynamic position you will serve as assistant to the City Manager and provide a wide range of administrative, analytical, professional, and technical support to the City Clerk and City Attorney. The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of assignments and projects that may involve any aspect of the City’s operations (e.g., contract preparation, management, and monitoring; budget analysis and preparation; policy review/development, and environmental and resiliency initiatives.)
With an initial emphasis on records and office management. Core responsibilities are also anticipated to include research and evaluation, contract management and assorted administrative work for the City Manager (e.g., responding to inquiries and complaints, preparing correspondence, tracking projects, scheduling, managing calendars, and filing).
