THE IDEAL CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have a background in land use planning, public policy and environmental regulations. They will also possess experience with general plan, zoning, subdivision, and environmental regulations, as well as public administration experience encompassing budgets, program planning, evaluation, and familiarity with the public hearing processes. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, given the collaborative nature of the role with City departments, councils, boards, commissions, engineers, architects, and other key stakeholders.
