CAREER OPPORTUNITY
POSITION:
The City of Napa seeks a Planning Manager to help lead the Planning (long-range and current) and Code Enforcement Division within the Community Development Department. This position will oversee a $1.4M budget, 10 staff, and comprehensive planning programs for the City. With limited direction from the Community Development Director, the Planning Manager will work to meet the goals of the Department and present planning and code enforcement matters at public. Additionally, this position will prepare ordinance and design guidelines that reflect the increasing modernization of the community. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and leadership, while empowering their team to make strategic decisions. The City is looking for a candidate who has knowledge of architecture and how it impacts site design and state and local laws related to code and planning.
