Salary $198,000 to $218,000 DOE/DOQ
The Sacramento Area Sewer District (SASD) and Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (Regional San) are seeking an experienced professional to serve as Director of Policy & Planning. This position is part of SASD’s and Regional San’s executive management team and is technically a Sacramento County employee. This position oversees long-term planning and asset management, legislative and regulatory affairs, wastewater source control, rate and fee development, green projects, scientific research, and special district-wide projects.
THE JOB
The Director of Policy & Planning reports to the General Manager (District Engineer) and manages a budget of approximately $10 million annually. The position oversees a department of about 45 staff and has four direct reports.
