Public Law Associate

Richards Watson & Gershon is seeking a public law associate to join our team in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Orange County offices. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience with an emphasis on the representation of public entities, the California Environmental Quality Act, land use, planning, and zoning. Experience in advising City Councils, Planning Commissions, or other governing boards at public meetings is desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to advise public agency clients on interesting governance issues, public projects, and private development proposals. The ability to work directly and effectively with clients is an essential skill for this position. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, California Bar membership, superior research and writing skills, and a strong commitment to professional excellence.
