San Joaquin County Department of Public Works is seeking seasoned engineers to fill senior-level engineering positions (Engineer V) in several divisions. These engineering managers will have a direct hand in building these teams: Community Infrastructure Engineering (CIE), Design Engineering, Transportation Engineering, and Water Resources/Flood Control (two positions).
Requires two years of experience as either a Registered Civil Engineer or Traffic Engineer in an organization performing diversified public works activities; and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
Licenses & Certificates: (1) Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Civil Engineer or Traffic Engineer as issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors; (2) Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
