THE POSITION: Under general supervision and direction of the City Administrator, performs a wide variety of project administration and professional duties in support of the planning and, implementation of economic development and housing programs in order to ensure the retention and expansion of the City’s housing and commercial base; and performs other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform in the position is outlined by the following:
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, econ­omics, urban planning, or a closely related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Four years of full-time progressively responsible and professional administrative or analytical experience in economic development, planning, real estate development, housing, redevelopment, community development, management of Community Development Block Grant or housing programs, or a closely related field.
