The Services and Facilities Director is an executive management position overseeing the Utilities, Streets, Parks and Facilities. oversight of street and sewer maintenance, wastewater and water treatment, project management, grounds, and park operations. Daily activities of the department include oversight of street and sewer maintenance, wastewater and water treatment, project management, grounds, park operations, staff assistance, manages and administers construction and contracts.The Services and Facilities Director provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager; and serves as a member of the City’s Executive Management Team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School graduation. Graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field preferred. Candidate may demonstrate relative work experience as equivalent to four-year degree.
Experience:
Six years of increasingly responsible experience in municipal government with an emphasis in Public Works, Community Development and Civil Engineering, including four years of supervisory and administrative responsibility.
