The County of Sonoma Clerk-Recorder-Assessor's Office Seeks a Highly Skilled
Supervising Auditor-Appraiser!
Starting Salary up to $45.39/Hr ($94,734/Yr) + a Cash Allowance of Approx. $600/Mo.
(Salary is negotiable commensurate with experience, salary history, and requirements.)
The Supervising Auditor-Appraiser plans, supervises and directs the work of technical audit and clerical staff in the CRA Office. The Assessor's division is responsible for assessing values on all business and personal property, boats, and aircraft in the County.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- 4+ years' of experience assessing business property in a California Assessor's Office Business Property Division
- California Board of Equalization Auditor-Appraiser Certification
- Extensive experience conducting large and complex business audits
- Thorough knowledge of laws and rules governing the audit and assessment of business and personal property, Property Statement Filing, and Assessment Appeals in California
- Coursework/training and team building skills in supervising and/or managing teams including experience in employee performance management and setting employee performance goals
