The City of Santa of Santa Fe Springs is seeking a highly-motivated individual for the position of Traffic Engineer. This is a Full-Time position in the Public Works Department.
This recruitment will remain open until a sufficient number of qualified applications have been received and may close without notice.
The Engineering Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for the design, construction and supervision of municipal improvements within the public right-of-way. This division also provides oversight of improvements completed in conjunctions with private developments and coordinates a variety of programs to ensure that City operations comply with County, State and Federal regulations.

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited college/university.
- Five (5) years experience performing professional traffic engineering duties.
- A valid Class C State of California driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Professional Engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Civil and Professional Engineers, or Traffic Engineers, is required.
