The City of Culver City, California, is seeking a Transportation and Mobility Planning Manager, Official Title: Transit Planning Manager (Planning Manager) to join the Transportation Department (Department). This leader will oversee many exciting initiatives and contribute to providing a world-class mobility system for the City and the Westside communities of Los Angeles. The Planning Manager will oversee five (5) transportation planners while moving the City’s mobility initiatives forward in a progressive and aggressive manner. This role offers the exciting opportunity to join a collaborative Department undergoing many exciting changes. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic thinking, project management, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills and work diligently to bring initiatives to fruition and address the current and future challenges and demand in mobility. They will be a roll-up-their-sleeves leader well versed in urban planning, mobility and transportation, budget management, project management with the ability to guide and mentor staff.
