The Trauma Recovery Center Clinical Director is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the Santa Clara County Trauma Recovery Center, with a focus on developing, implementing, and maintaining psychological and support services for individuals who are experiencing trauma related to critical incidents, mass violence, and/or natural disasters. This is a new position in the County and a new program as well, therefore, this position will be responsible for building out policies and procedures, developing a vision, and creating a new way to serve communities that have been impacted by critical incidents. This position is also responsible for partnering with internal and external stakeholders, developing, coordinating, and deploying a County-wide Critical Incident Response Team, and directing multidisciplinary teams of County and community-based service providers to deliver timely evidence-based treatment and intervention, clinical case management, and care coordination to individuals.

Required Background and Experience:
Training and experience equivalent to a master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital or Business Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or a closely related field and five (5) years of recent experience administering/managing complex programs and projects for clinical trauma services. Certification in Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocess (EMDR) therapy and experience with quality improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
