The City of Brisbane in San Mateo County has hired a new top administrator. In a unanimous vote this month, the city council appointed Jeremy Dennis as City Manager.

Amy Cunningham has been appointed City Manager of Novato. Cunningham, who most recently held the job on an interim basis, was promoted by the city council on Tuesday, May 14. 

West Covina has selected a longtime city employee to serve as its next city manager.

The Tustin City Council has appointed Artesia City Manager Aldo Schindler as its next chief administrator.

Dee Williams-Ridley has resigned as City Manager of Berkeley, effective this July.

Rialto City Manager David Carmany has resigned less than three months into his five-year contract with the city.

In just a few weeks, Watsonville City Manager René Mendez will start his new job as the top administrator for Salinas.

The Ventura City Council voted unanimously to dismiss City Attorney Andrew Heglund during a closed-session meeting on Saturday, April 13. His termination took effect immediately.

The Laguna Beach City Council has approved a three-year contract with incoming city manager David Kiff. He’ll take over May 6 at an annual salary of $315,000.
