The City of Redwood has selected Catherine Ralston as head of economic development, officials announced Monday.
And it appears to be his retirement from city-elected public service.
The city has hired Kevin Crawford, who briefly held the position in 2013.
Crescent City’s city manager Eugene Palazzo made a bold career move late last month, officially resigning to accept the same position in Galt, California.
Mark Scott has been with Burbank since summer 2013.
The city already has ten confirmed retirements for the coming year, including City Manager Karen McLaughlin.
The latest shakeup couldn't have come at a worse time.
