Deputy Finance Director

Finance Director

The City of Weed is currently recruiting for the position of Finance Director. Weed, California is nestled at the base of Mount Shasta in the Cascade Mountains and halfway between San Francisco and Portland. The community is surrounded by natural beauty, breathtaking vistas, and unmatched year-round outdoor recreation. The City is a historic lumber town which has retained much of its early 1900's charm, while transitioning into a tourist destination.

Budget Administrator

Under general direction, the Budget Administrator coordinates, plans, organizes, trains, and provides technical assistance and directs the preparation and execution of all budgets, the City's Five Year Capital Improvement Plan, all non-departmental revenue estimates, Financial Reviews and Financial Forecasts, and does related duties as required
 

Accounting Manager

Under direction, the Accounting Manager plans, organizes, and administers the work of the accounting function of the City's Finance Department; acts as Deputy City Treasurer; and performs related work as assigned. This class is a unit head, responsible for municipal accounting procedures and records in the areas of accounts payable, revenue, general ledger and grant program accounting, encumbrance, expenditure,  and appropriation accounting, general obligation, revenue bond, and sale/lease financial records.

Finance Director

The City of Paramount is looking for an experienced Finance Director to lead their organization’s budget and maintain the City’s fiscal health. The right candidate will be a quick learner, adaptable, and financially astute. In addition they will be friendly, approachable, and communicative. Reporting to the City Manager, the Finance Director will be responsible for all accounting, cashiering, financial reporting, financial planning, and investment activities of the City.
