Under general administrative direction, provides assistance and support to the City Manager including analyzing and implementing policies and procedures; oversees intergovernmental relations in the areas of service delivery and legislative issues; manages and coordinates programs and activities of economic vitality with the City Manager’s Office and the Community and Economic Development Department; provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager, City Council and Department Heads.
The City of Blue Lake is seeking a collaborative and community-focused professional to serve as its next City Manager. This executive role is appointed by and reports directly to the City Council, providing leadership across all City operations. In Blue Lake’s lean staffing environment, the City Manager also serves as Director of Public Works, overseeing water, wastewater, streets and parks, while supervising all departments except law enforcement and fire, which are provided by outside agencies.
