Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Liability Program Manager is responsible for PERMA’s liability program. This at-will, full-time position is responsible for planning, managing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the liability program. The Manager will oversee the liability claim handling third party administrator, or staff, be accountable for trend identification, assistance in the design of loss control programs and reporting, and member relations related to liability claims.

This position is responsible for the direction and coordination of the County's risk management programs and activities and involves planning, organizing and managing the administration of the County’s Risk Management Division, including: County-wide and department-specific Workers’ Compensation, loss prevention, occupational health and safety, risk transfer, risk funding, professional services contracts, general liability, ergonomics, and County-wide insurance programs and portfolio.
