Ideally located on the Pacific Ocean south of Los Angeles and just west of Orange County, Long Beach is the seventh largest city in California. The Assistant City Engineer reports to the City Engineer and manages the Civil Engineering division of the Engineering Bureau, overseeing up to 20 FTEs.
