Senior Planner

The City of Glendora’s Planning Department seeks a highly motivated, professional Senior Planner experienced in current and advance planning, who can complete a variety of specialized and responsible professional planning assignments.  The Senior Planner will complement our stellar team by bringing knowledge of state zoning law, CEQA, and subdivision map law.  AICP certification is preferred.

 

Senior Civil Engineer

Position Summary To supervise, assign, review and participate in the work of staff responsible for coordinating capital improvement projects, including preparation of engineering designs and specifications, and private land development entitlements; to ensure work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures; and to perform the more technical and complex tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.

 

Associate Planner II

EXAMPLES OF REGULAR DUTIES:  Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Collect, analyze and interpret data pertaining to planning and zoning; prepare clear concise and comprehensive written, oral and graphic reports and present them to the Council, Board and Planning Commission; prepare maps, charts, graphics and other illustrative material; review current legislation and identify the impact to the City; research and write amendments to existing ordinances; assist the public over the telephone and at the counter regarding departmental policy and practic

City Traffic Engineer

The Senior Engineer position, functioning as City Traffic Engineer, is responsible for the management of the Traffic Division of the Development Services Department. Responsibilities include implementing the City's Comprehensive Bicycle Master Plan and mobility projects, conducting and reviewing local and regional traffic and multi-modal transportation studies, reviewing development projects and proposals, and providing technical support to the traffic operations staff.

Deputy City Engineer

The Deputy City Engineer under general administrative direction is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, supervising and directing the activities of the Capital Improvement Program and other assigned sections in the Engineering Division within the Development Services Department. The Deputy City Engineer Provides highly responsible staff assistance to the Department Director and City Engineer.
