The City of Fullerton is among a cluster of cities changing its tune on marijuana in the face of financial hardship.
A draft ordinance discussed last week would permit cannabis retailers in general commercial zones. Manufacturing, cultivation, transportation, distribution, and testing would also be permitted in certain zones.
Around 33 people spoke during the public comment period, according to the Daily Titan. Community and Economic Development Director Matt Foulkes presented the City Council with a summary of outreach efforts that have been conducted over the past several months.
