Fullerton City Manager Eric Levitt was appointed City Manager of San Bernardino last week in a 7-1 vote by the City Council.

“We were the first city to join and things were not supposed to go this way,” Fullerton Councilmember Ahmad Zahra said. “I find it egregious that I have to find out this information from the press.”
Fullerton city leaders voted 3 to 2 last week to direct staff to study the feasibility of an inclusionary housing mandate.
One of the officers had previously been charged with filing a false police report in connection with a DUI case involving former Fullerton city manager Joseph Felz.
After an extensive search and selection process, the Fullerton City Council has hired Eric Levitt as the next city manager. He will take over May 10 at a base salary of $250,000 per year.
The City of Fullerton has severed ties with City Manager Ken Domer.
