Salary Range: $3,302.32 - $4,013.99
Unrepresented, At-Will Position: Under direction, performs the more difficult and complex administrative duties assigned to the Secretary series in support of the City Manager. Primary liaison between the City Manager, Elected Officials, managers, supervisors, clerical staff, and outside agencies and the general public. Organizes and monitors the work of clerical staff. Performs a variety of highly responsible and confidential secretarial duties assisting the City Manager with the delivery of office details. Has a positive and highly motivated attitude and displays tact, discretion, and sound independent judgment. Performs secretarial work related to the meetings and official activities of the City Council and does related work as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Equivalent to possession of a high school diploma and two (2) years of college-level courses in secretarial education or a similar field and some coursework in business practices, AND three (3) years of progressive responsible secretarial experience with considerable contact with the public. Public sector work experience is desirable.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT: Job offers contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment examination and criminal background investigation.
