The County of Nevada, California, located in the scenic Sierra foothills, seeks an Assistant Auditor Controller to assist in planning, organizing, and administering the activities of the Auditor-Controller’s Office; perform and oversee professional accounting, reporting and auditing services to the County, local agencies and schools; act on behalf of the Auditor-Controller when needed; and perform related work as required.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in accounting, business administration or related field from an accredited college or university, and four years of advanced journey-level professional accounting and/or auditing experience, including at least two years demonstrating management responsibility and supervision of professional and/or technical staff.
