The City of Ventura is hiring! We have immediate vacancies for the positions of Management Analyst I/II with the City’s Public Works Department. There are currently two (2) vacancies each supporting different functional areas within the department. This is an exciting time for someone pursuing a career in local government to join the City of Ventura a make a direct impact by supporting city-wide goals and initiatives.
We are looking for candidates with professional level administrative and analytical experience. The Administrative Division seeks candidates who have analytical, grant management and process improvement skills. The Fleet and Facilities Division seeks candidates who have analytical, asset life cycle management and process improvement skills. Organized self-starter, able to work well under tight deadlines, the ideal candidate will have experience synthesizing and analyzing data. As an effective communicator who is confident in dealing with employees at all levels, as well as citizens, you will represent a strong customer centric approach.
