Parks & Recreation Business Manager

The City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department is currently recruiting for a Business Manager.  The Business Manager plans, manages and coordinates the activities and operations of the Parks and Recreation annual operating and capital budget; oversees department marketing and communications; manages the department performance measurement program; and leads information technology projects and applications related to Department operations, including recreation activity and facility reservations, park maintenance, Golf Pro Shop, and City Internet applications. The Business Manager works across the department, with division managers and supervisors, to perform expenditure and revenue analysis and forecasting; develop fees and charges; evaluate and enhance programs, services, and facility maintenance and operations; leverage financial resources; and implement new initiatives. The Business Manager reports to the Parks and Recreation Director.
