POLICE SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE – City of Monrovia, CA – Salary: $41,460 - $55,561 plus excellent benefits.

The City of Monrovia is looking for a dynamic individual to serve as the Police Services Representative in the Police Department. This individual should be someone who has high attention to detail and can accomplish work in a diverse and fast-paced environment. This position will require a high level of customer service to assist the Police Department with their day to day operations.
The Police Services Representative will be responsible for a variety of ongoing, day to day tasks and projects:
- Process a variety of confidential police records including arrest reports, warrants, citations, crime and traffic reports, booking forms, property records, vehicle storage and release forms
- Conduct record checks and research files for requested information
- Release appropriate or approved reports and related information to the public and outside agencies
- Perform a variety of functions necessary to coordinate routine and emergency operations
- Maintain complex department records and files specific to the Police Department
- Provide care for infants and children awaiting transportation and accompany officers when transporting certain persons (i.e. female prisoners, victims, etc.)
- Learn the proper process to conduct searches of prisoners and conduct limited searches as requested by staff and approved by the watch commander

Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, abilities and skills is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the qualifications would be:
- High School graduation and one (1) year general office experience, including familiarity with computers and office software programs. Bi-lingual skills desirable.
- Possession of a valid Class C California Driver’s License and a good driving record
