Assistant Personnel Analyst

The Position: The County of Santa Cruz is currently recruiting for an Assistant Personnel Analyst to join the Employment Services Division (aka: Recruiting Division) of the Personnel Department.
The Analyst will be responsible for leading a team to conduct recruitments and examinations for several County departments. We are seeking a candidate with excellent customer service skills and experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment with priorities changing constantly.

Director of Community Development

The Director of Community Development will plan, organize, manage, and provide administrative direction and oversight for all functions and activities of the department. The position will work closely with other County departments, officials, outside agencies, regulatory agencies, and the public and will be responsible for fostering cooperative working relationships. This position will also be responsible for providing highly responsible and complex professional assistance to the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors.

Deputy City Manager

Under administrative direction, directs the operations of the Community Development Department and other City departments as assigned. Directs and coordinates special projects and programs.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Receives supervision from the City Manager. Exercises supervision over a group of City departments.

Deputy County Executive Social Services

The position works under the executive policy direction of the County Executive Officer and provides policy direction to all subordinate department heads. The Deputy County Executive – Social Services has the overall responsibility for policy development, fiscal management, and the administration and coordination of programs and services for all assigned Agency departments.
