Utilities Director

Gilroy is situated in south Santa Clara County at the southern tip of the San Francisco Bay Area, which is a dynamic urban area of 7,000 square miles, nine counties, 100 cities, and a population of 8.8 million, making it the fifth most populous metropolitan area in the United States. Nestled in a picturesque valley setting along the eastern foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountain Range, Gilroy is bordered by Llagas and Uvas Creeks, which flow south into the Pajaro River.

Public Works Director

Centrally located and serving as the eastern anchor of the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley, the City of Fremont (pop. 232,619) is the region’s fourth-largest city and a center of innovation and culture with one of the most ethnically diverse populations in the Bay Area. The Fremont Public Works Department is responsible for the design and construction of public facilities, managing and improving the City’s transportation network, and reviewing development projects.

The Position

Management Services Director

The City of Lompoc (pronounced as “Lom-poke”) is a welcoming community located along California’s Central Coast, known for its scenic landscapes, historic character, vibrant mural program, and exceptional wines. Situated along Highway 1 approximately 55 miles northwest of Santa Barbara, 155 miles northwest of Los Angeles, and 270 miles south of San Francisco, Lompoc encompasses approximately 11.7 square miles and serves a population of about 43,000 residents. 

 

Real Property Manager

Conveniently located in the heart of Orange County, the vibrant City of Tustin (pop. 79,326) offers an exceptional quality of life. Reflecting a renewed commitment to the Tustin Legacy project, the City created the Real Property Division of the City Manager’s Office, led by the Deputy City Manager, in 2024. The Real Property Manager reports to the Deputy City Manager and will assist in overseeing the planning, marketing, disposition, and development of City owned/licensed real property, including more than 500 acres within Tustin Legacy. 

Public Works and Utilities Director

An ideal Public Works and Utility Director is a technically skilled, dynamic, and visionary leader who will support the construction of reliable infrastructure while strategically planning for the community’s future. They possess strong engineering and operational knowledge of water, wastewater, transportation, and stormwater systems, paired with financial discipline to manage budgets, capital improvement plans, and sustainable rate structures.

Streets Maintenance Supervisor

  • Supervises, leads, and participates in the activities of assigned staff responsible for street, traffic and information signals, printing and application of street markings, striping, lines and directional messages and storm drain maintenance;
  • Performs on-site inspection of work; ensures the implementation of traffic control measures at job sites; maintains records of program activity, materials used, employee schedules and time records.
  • Surveys City streets, parking lots, drainage ways and signage to identify maintenance needs; establishes schedules and methods for pro
