About the Position:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to serve as the Community Development Director, overseeing planning, building and safety, and directing the planning and building operations and activities of the City. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with an understanding of urban planning, zoning laws, building codes and community development strategies. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the City’s growth is safe, sustainable and inclusive while balancing the needs of residents and businesses.

In collaboration with the Community Development Director, these positions will plan, organize, direct, and manage the day-to-day activities and operations of the Community Development Department and assist in the overall management of the department to support the Director.
