Engineer - Assistant

The Department of Public Works Environmental Engineering Division is hiring a journey level Assistant Engineer located in Auburn, CA. The Assistant Engineer's main role is to perform routine engineering tasks. The candidate would be responsible for assisting in managing capital improvements projects to the County’s sewer lift stations, sewer collection system infrastructure, solid waste transfer stations/material recovery facilities, and closed landfill sites.

Engineering Technician II

The Community Development Resource Agency's Engineering & Surveying Division has a vacancy for an Engineering Technician. This position will be assigned duties specializing in the review and processing of office land surveying documents including maps, deeds and easements, and County Addressing support services. Additional duties include the inspection of grading required for private and public land development projects including impacts to drainage, and infrastructure projects such as roads, sewers, drainage, and grading.
